This page describes how to sign in to the firm panel, how to set and reset your password, and what you see in the panel and why: roles, modules and licence warnings.

Signing in to the firm panel

The firm panel opens at the path /app on your firm’s Tourante address. If you open the address with the domain name only, without writing a path, you land directly on the firm panel’s sign-in page.
  1. On the sign-in page, enter your e-mail address and your password.
  2. Press the sign-in button. The panel takes you straight to the «Panelim» (my panel) screen.
If two-step verification is on for your account, the sign-in page also asks, after your password, for the code your authenticator app generates; instead of the code you can also use one of your recovery codes (below, in the “Two-step verification” section). The phone app asks for the same code at sign-in too (Getting started on the phone). The fields and the button of the sign-in form are the panel’s standard sign-in screen. Below the form is the «Parolamı unuttum» (forgot my password) link. This link exists only in the firm panel; the agency portal has no password reset. If sign-in with the same e-mail address fails 10 times within 15 minutes (a wrong password, an address that is not registered or a wrong verification code), sign-in with that address is locked; the sign-in page tells you after how many minutes you can try again. The warning does not say whether the address is registered. Failed attempts are counted together in the firm panel, the agency portal and the phone app; a successful sign-in resets the count. If your firm’s licence has expired, signing in still succeeds, but the licence page opens instead of the panel (below, in the “Licence warnings” section). The panel’s only profile page is the «İki adımlı doğrulama» (two-step verification) page, and it manages two-step verification only; it has no name, e-mail or password field. When you want to change your own password, use the «Parolamı unuttum» steps.

If you have forgotten your password

  1. On the sign-in page, click the «Parolamı unuttum» link. The browser tab of the page that opens reads «Parolanızı sıfırlayın» (reset your password).
  2. In the «E-posta adresi» (e-mail address) field, enter the address you sign in to the panel with and press the «Sıfırlama bağlantısı gönder» (send reset link) button.
  3. In every case the notification «E-posta adresiniz kayıtlıysa sıfırlama bağlantısı gönderildi.» (If your e-mail address is registered, a reset link has been sent.) appears on the screen. For security reasons the screen does not say whether the address is registered.
  4. Click the «Parolamı sıfırla» (reset my password) button in the e-mail whose sender name is «Tourante». The link is valid for 60 minutes and can be used only once.
  5. On the page that opens you see the heading «Yeni parolanızı belirleyin» (set your new password). The «E-posta adresi» field comes filled in. Enter the same password in the «Yeni parola» (new password) and «Yeni parola (tekrar)» (new password, again) fields; the password must be at least 8 characters long.
  6. Press the «Parolamı sıfırla ve giriş yap» (reset my password and sign in) button. You enter the panel with the notification «Parolanız sıfırlandı, hoş geldiniz.» (Your password has been reset, welcome.). If two-step verification is on for your account, you do not enter the panel directly: the notification «Parolanız sıfırlandı. Giriş sayfasında parolanız ve doğrulama kodunuzla giriş yapın.» (Your password has been reset. Sign in on the sign-in page with your password and your verification code.) appears and the sign-in page opens.
Things to know:
  • If the link has expired or has been used before, the warning «Bu bağlantı geçersiz ya da süresi dolmuş. Yeni bir sıfırlama bağlantısı isteyin.» (This link is invalid or has expired. Request a new reset link.) appears. Start again and request a new link.
  • If the e-mail has not arrived, check your junk folder and try again a minute later. At most two requests a minute can be sent from the same page.
  • The reset e-mail goes to the firm’s staff only. Agency users ask the firm’s manager for their password (Agency portal).
  • To go back to sign-in from the page, use the «Girişe geri dön» (back to sign-in) link.
  • The password rule is the same in every password field of the firm’s staff: at least 8 characters. The rule applies on the reset and invitation pages, in the «Parolanızı değiştirin» (change your password) window and in the «Kullanıcılar» (users) form. Agency users’ passwords have a rule of their own (Customers and agencies).
  • When your password is reset, Tourante ends all your sessions on phones: you sign in again in the phone app with your new password.

First sign-in by invitation

When your firm starts on Tourante, the firm’s first manager receives an invitation e-mail. If your firm’s manager opened your account by importing it from Excel, you receive an invitation e-mail too; the steps are the same (Firm settings).
  1. Click the «Parolamı belirle» (set my password) button in the invitation e-mail whose sender name is «Tourante».
  2. The «Parolanızı belirleyin» (set your password) page opens. Enter the same password in the «Yeni parola» and «Yeni parola (tekrar)» fields; the password must be at least 8 characters long.
  3. Press the «Parolamı belirle ve giriş yap» (set my password and sign in) button. You enter the panel with the notification «Parolanız belirlendi, hoş geldiniz.» (Your password has been set, welcome.). If two-step verification is already on for your account, the notification «Parolanız belirlendi. Giriş sayfasında parolanız ve doğrulama kodunuzla giriş yapın.» (Your password has been set. Sign in on the sign-in page with your password and your verification code.) appears instead and the sign-in page opens.
If you have the «Yönetici» (manager) role (the firm’s first manager has it), the panel asks you to set up two-step verification before it opens any page (below, in the “Two-step verification” section). The invitation link is valid for 7 days and counts as used the moment you set your password. You can submit a password from the invitation page at most five times a minute; beyond that, the page tells you after how many seconds you can try again. The invitation does not take the place of a password reset: if you forget your password later, follow the «Parolamı unuttum» steps.
  • If the link has expired or has been altered, the «Bu alana erişiminiz yok» (you do not have access to this area) page opens.
  • If the link has been used before, the «Bu davet kullanılmış ya da geçersiz.» (This invitation has been used or is invalid.) page opens.
In both cases, contact the person who sent you the link for a new invitation. If you have already set your password, sign in from the sign-in page.

Changing a password someone else set

When the manager creates a user for you or sets a new password for you, someone else knows your password. In that case the «Parolanızı değiştirin» (change your password) window opens automatically after you sign in.
  1. Enter a password of your own choosing in the «Yeni parola» and «Yeni parola (tekrar)» fields; the password must be at least 8 characters long.
  2. Press the «Parolayı değiştir» (change password) button. The notification «Parolanız değiştirildi.» (Your password has been changed.) appears and the window does not open again.
The window cannot be closed: it opens again on every page until you set your own password. If you sign in to the phone app first, you make the change there: right after the sign-in the app opens the «Parolanızı değiştirin» screen and does not complete the sign-in until you have set your own password (Getting started on the phone). If you have the «Yönetici» role and have not set up two-step verification yet, this screen does not appear on the phone: the app stops the sign-in, and you must first sign in to the firm panel and set up two-step verification. This window is not shown while the firm’s licence is inactive.

Two-step verification

Two-step verification protects signing in to the firm panel with a code as well as the password: the code is generated by an authenticator app you install on your phone.
  • It is required for the «Yönetici». If you have not set it up yet, after your next sign-in the panel first takes you to the set-up screen; you cannot move on to any page without setting it up. This screen also opens first while the firm’s licence is inactive.
  • It is optional for other staff. Users with the «Operasyon elemanı» (operations staff) role turn two-step verification on and off themselves on the profile page, the «İki adımlı doğrulama» page. You reach the page from the panel’s user menu.
While setting it up, you link your authenticator app to your account by following the steps on the screen, and you enter the code the app generates. The panel also gives you recovery codes; keep them in a safe place. When your phone is not with you, you can use a recovery code instead of the code at sign-in; recovery codes are also accepted at the phone app’s sign-in, and each of them is valid only once, in the panel or on the phone. A wrong code is not accepted. If you cannot reach your authenticator app and your recovery codes, a manager of your firm opens your record on the «Kullanıcılar» (users) screen in the panel, or finds your row on the «Kullanıcılar» page on the phone, presses the «İki Adımlı Doğrulamayı Sıfırla» (reset two-step verification) button and confirms the question «İki adımlı doğrulama sıfırlansın mı?» (Reset two-step verification?). The authenticator app’s link and the recovery codes are deleted. If the user who was reset has the «Yönetici» role, the notification «İki adımlı doğrulama sıfırlandı. Kullanıcı bir sonraki girişinde yeniden kurar.» (Two-step verification has been reset. The user sets it up again at their next sign-in.) appears on the screen: at their next sign-in, this user cannot move on to any page without setting two-step verification up again. If they have the «Operasyon elemanı» role, the notification «İki adımlı doğrulama sıfırlandı. Kullanıcı parolasıyla girer; isterse yeniden açar.» (Two-step verification has been reset. The user signs in with their password and may turn it on again.) appears: this user signs in with their password alone and may turn two-step verification on again if they wish. The button appears only on the record of a user who has two-step verification on; a manager does not see it on their own record. If the firm has no other manager, contact Tourante: once your identity has been verified, the Tourante team does the reset. The phone app asks for the verification code at sign-in too: a user who has two-step verification on enters, on the phone, after their password, the code their authenticator app generates or one of their recovery codes (Getting started on the phone). Two-step verification cannot be set up on the phone: a manager who has not set it up yet cannot sign in on the phone, and sets it up in the firm panel first. When you turn two-step verification on in the firm panel, your session on the phone ends; when you sign in again, the app asks for the verification code. To end only one of your sessions on phones, use the «Açık Oturumlar» (open sessions) page in the phone app (Getting started on the phone).

Roles

The firm panel has two roles: «Yönetici» (manager) and «Operasyon elemanı» (operations staff). Your firm’s manager gives you your role on the «Kullanıcılar» (users) screen (Firm settings). The third role, «Acente kullanıcısı» (agency user), belongs to the users of the agencies that work with your firm. The system gives this role automatically when the manager creates a user for an agency from a customer’s «Panel Kullanıcıları» (panel users) section. An agency user cannot open the firm panel; they sign in only to the agency portal. The table below shows which role sees each menu of the firm panel and which module the menu depends on. A menu does not appear if its module is off, even when your role allows it. Inside the menus’ screens, too, some blocks and buttons are visible to the manager only; each page says so separately. The firm’s last manager cannot be deleted. If you try to delete them, the warning «Bu firmanın son Yöneticisi silinemez.» (This firm’s last manager cannot be deleted.) appears: first give the «Yönetici» role to another user. The Tourante team can also create users in your firm and change a user’s name, e-mail address or role; it cannot set a password. Every change sends an e-mail to all of your firm’s managers, and an e-mail also goes to the old address of a user whose e-mail address is changed. These e-mails come with the sender name «Tourante». A user the Tourante team creates receives an invitation e-mail and sets their own password (above, in the “First sign-in by invitation” section). If the Tourante team changes the address of a user who has not accepted their invitation yet, or has not yet changed a password the manager set for them, the old invitation link and the old password stop working and a new invitation goes to the new address. Your firm’s name is also set by the Tourante team; no field in the panel changes it. The registered name printed as the seller’s name on the pro forma invoice is separate and is entered on the firm information screen (Firm settings).

Modules

The parts of Tourante are switched on and off as modules. The Tourante team switches modules on and off for your firm; to have a module that is off switched on, contact Tourante. There are fourteen modules: «Talepler», «Konfigüratör», «Kotasyon», «Teklifler», «Operasyonlar», «Departlar», «Transferler», «Faturalama», «Takip», «Anketler» (surveys), «Müşteriler», «Oteller», «Geri Bildirim» and «Acente Paneli» (agency panel).
  • In a new firm, «Transferler», «Anketler» and «Acente Paneli» start switched off; the others are on.
  • The menus of a module that is off do not appear in the panel. If you open the address of one of that module’s pages directly, the «Bu alana erişiminiz yok» page appears.
  • When the licence expires, all modules except «Geri Bildirim» are switched off together. Your data and your module choices are not deleted; when the licence is extended, they all come back.

Licence warnings

Licence expiry banner

When 14 days are left before the licence ends, a warning banner appears at the top of every page the manager sees. The banner states the number of days left and the date after which access to the panel will close; it gives Tourante’s support address for extending the licence. In the last three days the banner turns from yellow to red. The banner cannot be dismissed and is visible only to the «Yönetici» role.

Licence information warning

If your firm’s licence information could not be updated for some time, a yellow warning strip appears at the top of the manager’s pages. The panel keeps working normally and nothing is locked; however, a change made to the licence (an extension, a module switched on) may not have reached the panel yet. If the warning persists, write to the support address in the strip. The strip is visible only to the «Yönetici» role.

The page that opens while the licence is inactive

When the licence expires or the firm’s access is stopped, every page of the panel redirects to a single warning page. The page’s title changes with the situation:
  • «Lisansınız sona erdi» (your licence has expired) — the licence’s term has run out.
  • «Deneme süreniz sona erdi» (your trial period has ended) — the trial period has run out.
  • «Hesabınız askıya alındı» (your account has been suspended) — the firm’s access to the panel has been stopped.
The page shows the firm’s name and (except for a suspension) the end date. None of your data is deleted: your files, your offers and your module choices stay as they are.
  • The manager sees Tourante’s support address on the page and writes there to extend the licence.
  • Other users see no address; the page tells them to talk to the firm’s manager.
  • The «Çıkış yap» (sign out) button on the page always works.
  • The «Geri Bildirim» button at the bottom right stays on this page too (if the «Geri Bildirim» module is switched on for your firm). You can also report from here that you cannot get into the panel (Support and feedback).
For a firm whose Tourante contract has ended, the page states that the data will be deleted permanently 90 days after the firm leaves. During this time the firm’s manager can download all of the firm’s data with the «Verilerimi Dışa Aktar» button on the page (Firm settings). When you open a page you are not allowed to see, the «Bu alana erişiminiz yok» page appears. You see this page in these cases:
  • when you open the address of a page of a module that is off,
  • when you open a screen your role is not allowed to see,
  • when you open the address of another panel (for example, when an agency user opens the firm panel),
  • when you open an invitation link that has expired or been altered,
  • when you open the agency portal while the firm’s «Acente Paneli» module is off.
The «Kendi panelime dön» (back to my own panel) button on the page takes you to the panel you can enter; «Çıkış yap» ends the session. If you have not signed in, the «Giriş sayfasına git» (go to the sign-in page) button appears. When you open an invitation link that has been used before, the «Bu davet kullanılmış ya da geçersiz.» page appears. If you have already set your password, sign in with the «Giriş sayfasına git» button. If you need a new invitation, contact your firm’s manager or the person who sent you the link.

Error pages

When a problem occurs on your firm’s Tourante address, you see an error page in Turkish:
  • «Sayfa bulunamadı» (page not found) — there is no page at the address you opened, or the page has moved. Check the address.
  • «Sayfanın süresi doldu» (the page has expired) — the security key has expired because the page stayed open for a long time without any action. Refresh the page and try your action again.
  • «Beklenmeyen bir hata oluştu» (an unexpected error occurred) — your request could not be completed. Try again in a few minutes; if the problem persists, let your firm’s manager know.
All three pages have the «Giriş sayfasına git» button, which takes you to the firm panel’s sign-in page.
